Meta Data ?/Last fm?

I installed boxee on my wife's laptop and located my external HDD with all my Movies. I have get Thumbnails checked and it seems to be working down the list. However, I have a few movies that there are no thumbnails located and it doesn't list them as available. Can I manually put in the Thumbnails? Where are they stored?


I have a Last fm account and I have put in my user name and password in the setup but can't seem to access it. Is there something else I need to do? I have it setup on my itouch and it works perfectly there so I don't think it's a network problem.

welcome to boxee

you can manually resolve unrecognized movies by selecting the appropriate and choosing recognize ...

regarding last.fm please make sure you have entered the correct username/password ..try a few different channels sometimes there is a problem with the last fm server..

I can find the newly added movie when I go to the source. However when I go to movies Directly it is not there. I added movie from the source with recognize and still don't see it in the movie section. Does it need a lot of time to populate the Thumbnail?

as boxee indexes in the background the best idea is to park it overnight and see how it is in the morning ..to help boxee along it is good if you use the correct naming format see these threads
