I've seen that others are able to play ISO files back fine, but I'm having trouble. I can browse and see the ISO file. When I select it, I get options for 'Play,' 'Trailer,' and 'Read More.' If I choose 'Play,' boxee jumps me back to the folder listing the files.

I've tried going through Video - Sources - Local Sources (in the Videos folder on my Mac) and through Video - Sources - (network SMB share). The ISO shows up in the listing just fine, but I never can seem to play it.

I can play the ISO with no trouble from VLC, which makes me think the ISO file is good.

Thanks for the help!

Tim

I figured out the problem - I was using Free ISO Creator to build the ISOs from the VIDEO_TS/AUDIO_TS folders. Boxee didn't like them, but neither did VLC (my previous note was wrong).

When I built the ISO from the same folders using ImgBurn, it worked great in Boxee.

This is odd. I'm having this problem, but the ISO plays fine in VLC and once mounted DVD Player plays it fine. The ISO is created using MTR4, any thoughts?

I'm having similar issues with my full rips. They've worked no worries in the past using VMC and MediaBrowser plugin in this program. I'm considering shifting across to Boxee but this seems to be a road block for me. I looked at the other thread marcel but it ended with people have the same issues as me... with most remaining unresolved.

When I enter a ripped DVD it plays the menue screen but the arrow buttons only let me change the volume, fast forward through the menu etc. I can't even click "play movie" with the mouse.

Any suggestions?
