new boxee takes 3 minutes to start?

I upgraded to the latest boxee a yesterday. Everytime I start boxee it now shows the logo, plays the startup sound, then shows the "cloud" background with the word "Connecting..." for 3 effing minutes before I can do anything.

Is this a known bug with the new boxee? Any idea how I reset boxee from scratch?

If you didn't do a fresh/clean install that might help. Uninstall Boxee, then rename or delete your UserData (http://boxee.zendesk.com/entries/172855-userdata-folder) folder and then reinstall the latest version of Boxee.

Thanks. That fixed it. Sadly of course that means all my shares and all my manual movie tags are lost.
