1.I have a usb Hard drive connect to another computer with all my media I have it shared when I connect I can't see any of the media says no data
Any idea

2.Mlb.tv I called to see if they had a trail to see watch the pictures is like but they had nothing. Does boxee have a trail username and password to check out MLB.tv

3. Can you play emulators video games on boxee.

1) Are you trying to add folders from the remote drive via Settings / Local Media? Or are you just trying to "browse" to the remote drive.

If you can post step by step what you're trying to do and what happens, you're likely to get more help.

2) No, Boxee does not provide a trial username and password for MLB.tv

3) I'm not sure but if you search this site for the word "emulators" you'll probably find your answer.

4) See the section called Stuttering Videos in this post: http://forums.boxee.tv/announcement.php?f=8

Also note the minimum and preferred HW requirements:

There are several models of Zotac with three different Atom/Ion configs.

Some more details of which you have, ram and OS would be helpful and go along well with the links D listed. :D

I have the Zotac ID11 250 HD 2 Gig ram and windows 7.

I think my problem is permissions on the Wester Digital usb drive which is connected to my office pc running Vista.

I think i found the issue it maybe with Vista I connected to my PC with XP and I was able to get the media..

Something is different with sharing on Vista

Yes, you have to enable the access to the shared media even in XP. So, I think you've just not enabled or gave permission between those two pc's.

As for the Flash video, be sure to install FireFox browser and then surf via that browser to the Flash web site and install it. FFOx and the adobe add-in for FFox must be installed for boxee to work correctly with flash.

On the Zotac HD boxes, be sure to update with the Zotac Nvidia drivers to fix the new ION 2 video issues with flash. I hear it's not perfect but pretty good still.

1) you can use the manual resolve function:
http://boxee.zendesk.com/entries/172489-resolving-an-unidentified-movie-or-tv-show

2) shouldn't be but mp4 is just a container, there may be something going on with how the file was actually encoded.

There were MKV files and I did convert them to MP4 for xbox 360 I can watch them if I view by file network.

I must be doing something wrong with scan out of 1000 cd's of music only 100 were identified same with tv show less then 10%

I will redo and then do manual

You'd probably find the entire site a good read: http://boxee.zendesk.com/ but see this in particular regarding file naming conventions: http://boxee.zendesk.com/entries/42693-correctly-naming-local-media-files

The .mp4 container should not be the problem with indexing, but rather the naming of the files.

Follow D's links and read up on naming files so they get indexed. ;)
