Progress Bar wont go away

Hi, I have searched the forums and couldent find an answer to this question. I am running the newest version of boxee on a mac mini 10.6.4. When I am playing online content (eg: Daily show) a simple yellow progress bar will not disapear from the screen. It tracks the shows the time watched and says playing. Pressing pause and then play as mentioned in other posts did not work for me. How can I turn this off? Thanks

I too have the same problem.
I just wish the progress bar had an [x] to close it for when this problem happened.

It should always auto close, but sometimes it doesn't. especially in Netflix, and when i've paused and unpaused, or otherwise messed with it a bit.

a [x] on the playing progress bar would be a nice failsafe for when the software fails. another idea... make the progress bar not as opaque, and closer to the bottom of the screen (so as to not cover subtitles!)...

Developers, please?
