First Time user bugs...

Hey guys, I'm new to this so here's my short list of encountered bugs so far (on MacOSX using an aluminum iMac Intel Core 2 Duo):


1. Downloading Movies Stall Time - Anyone experiencing a long wait time after choosing a movie from the classic movie selections?

I'll select it for download and the first time it happened I thought it crashed. It just takes a really long time.

2. Random Crashes - It crashes randomly if I leave it alone for a bit. I come back to my computer and see a notification saying it crashed and I'm back to my desktop.

3. Thumbnail Load Time - Thumbnails for previewing certain shows or movies take a really long time upon first viewing.

and finally

4. Odd Rewind Time - It's not really a bug but more of an issue. While watching a movie and if I want to rewind just a few seconds while holding my remote, it jumps back about 20 seconds or so, so I have to sit there and wait a bit for something I could have easily just rewound to faster. Nothing major but it's just a little annoying.


Other than that, everything's been really cool but I'll keep any bugs I run into posted here. Thanks!

1.This can take time depending on your network.
2.Next version release (coming soon-stay tuned to the forums ) will solve this issue.
3.Sometimes this can occur as it can take some time to resolve certain media data as well as the amount of items.
4.Currently regarding the rewind issue there are 2 options of short rewind which takes the movie back approx 20-30 secs or fast rewind takes movie back 2mins,4 mins ,8 mins etc..(depending on how many times you click the option)

it stalls when it downloads the torrent link (just the torrent file). you are right - it should be done in background

yeah... the background scanner (which is responsible for providing metadata on your library) is buggy. expect improvements in the next version...

the next version also addresses thumbnail loading time.
