Here's a weird little issue...
I have a MacBook Pro connected to an external keyboard, mouse and monitor via KVM switch. I have Logitech Z10 speakers connected via USB. My sound system preferences are set to the Z10s for audio output.
If I attempt to play a video locally, or over an SMB share, the audio *only* plays if I plug headphones into my MBP's audio out port.
On the other hand, if I play a streaming video off Hulu, it works fine through my Z10.
Any idea why this is happening?
Also, any idea why a file with this name: ARRESTED_DEVELOPMENT.s03.e12.m4v wouldn't be recognized as a TV show? It's coming up as a movie. Ditto for this: futurama.s03.e10.m4v (and all other files like it).
Do TV shows have to be nested in folders by season? Those files are in /TV Shows/Futurama/<shows> whereas the only file I have that's actually recognized as being a TV show is in /TV Shows/Dexter/Season 2/dexter.s02e07.mp4
Thanks,
-jason
