I have noticed boxee has closed during different actions so I will be using this thread to document what happened and to post logs relating to the crashes. I will be the first to say I'm not very knowledgeable with *nix but I would like to do anything I can to help all boxee users.

System Information

Gigabyte GA-945GZM-S2
2.6GHz Pentium D (805)
2GB DDR2 1066MHz RAM
80GB HDD
GeForce 7300GT 256MB PCI-E Video Card
DVICO Fusion HDTV Lite 5 TV Tuner Card
Onboard LAN (20/5 Verizon FiOS)

Uses/Setup

This box is strictly a media PC connected to a projector via Component Out on the video card. For the most part all it runs is MythTV. A MP3 and Video directory are mounted via a share from another box that's Hackintosh OS X86. The primary purpose of the box is to record HDTV and play back music and videos from the shared directories. Most videos/movies are XviD encoded.

I was watching a movie and decided to listen to an audio podcast. I went to Music->Internet->Podcasts and selected a podcast and started listening to it. I wanted to go to the visualization, so I pressed the left arrow to get to the main menu and I clicked on the Now Playing button at the top. Upon clicking, boxee closed and I was presented with my desktop.

(Boxee can be restarted in all situations unless specified otherwise.)

I haven't searched yet for a way around this, but I removed the middle section out of the debug file so I could upload it. I could host it on my own server if additional info is needed.

No I usually can't. It's happened three times in various locations, so I decided to start tracking when it happens. Unfortunately the first two times I did not have logging set up so I will post if I run into the issue again.
