My setup is OS X 10.6.4 (just upgraded) + Candelair + the latest Boxee Beta. My problem right now is that I can't get my remote to launch Boxee. If I launch it manually however, I can control Boxee just fine.

I have the "Always Running" setting checked. If I uncheck that, and press menu (while Boxee isn't running), FrontRow launches.

I had RemoteBuddy installed, turned off "Always Running" in Boxee and configured RemoteBuddy to start Boxee whenever the menu button was pressed. That was fine, except that the free trial expired and I'm trying to explore free options before I buy RemoteBuddy.

Any thoughts here?

Thanks.

I'm confused. You are saying that when you had "Always Running" setup in Boxee, that when you hit the menu button, Boxee would pull up?
Can you clarify this a little bit for me... I am not understanding this fully

Nope. When

1) 'Always Running' is checked, the remote will NOT launch Boxee. If I launch manually though, I can control Boxee, i.e. navigate the menus and whatnot.

2) 'Always Running' is not checked, I press 'Menu' and FrontRow comes up, NOT Boxee. If I've launched manually, I can't recall if I can control Boxee in this sate, but I suppose that is not important to this quesiton.

Forget what I said about RemoteBuddy -- I think that's just confusing the issue. The problem restated, is that when 'Always Running' is enabled, and Boxee is closed, I cannot launch Boxee using my Harmony.

Thanks,
Justin
