File Sharing like ORB and Simplify Media

I would love to see some kind of "Legal" file sharing like that seen from ORB and Simplifymedia. Not the ability to copy the media but to be able to share/watch it when friends are online. Because Boxee uses secure friends sharing it would be ideally placed to integrate these features. This should include Music, Movies, Videos, Photo's.

Is this possible or even on the horizon?

what about a simple plug in to the simplify account server? same with ORB.
