Playing Multichannel WMVs... how to get watchable audio???

Playing 5.1 audio in a wmv all I can get to play is the front left and right channels. Is there a way to get it all collapsed into stereo so that it's possible to watch them in Boxee? Thanks.

What Boxee audio settings are you currently using?

I have tried every combination of every single setting to no avail... downmix to stereo, turned off the DTS and Dolby compatible amp features, etc. etc. etc.

The centre channel never comes through. And of course, it's a Mac so I'm sending out fibre to a DTS/Dolby amplifier.

It seems that there is no way for Mac Boxee to handle multichannel windows media audio. At this point I guess I'm even just hoping for a workaround.
