Hey folks,
I have had some success and some challenges syncing multiple Boxee installs. We have mac minis on each TV in the house and have started using Boxee almost exclusively for video content.
One of the first things I did was to set up unison (similar to rsync) and make sure that all of my ~/Lib../App\ Supp../Boxee directories were in sync. The idea was to be able to make changes to settings, share the indexed media, share changes to media names (eg: "when using the "recognize" feature), etc...
The good news is that indexing seems to be spot on between machines - although I suspect that has more to do with Boxee's work than mine. Some settings (EG: flickr) have conveyed...
Other items do not seem to keep in sync - recently watch shows for example...sources are also not syncing (not a huge deal since they are staic for the most part).
Just curious if anyone else had tried to keep more than one install in sync an what success or challenges you are facing?
