Proper noob question re torrents

Hi there,

Installed Boxee on my Mini today and love what I see so far.

What would make it amazing would be to be able to browse and download torrents from within Boxee.

After some searching I read about the SceneSelections plugin, which was hosted on the boxeehq site. Having spent hours trying to download the .zip file I discovered that boxeehq is pretty much defunct.

So, 2 questions:


Is the SceneSelections plugin available elsewhere, if so where?
Is there a plugin/app (I know there is a difference, and I's still trying to get my head around that -I'm not particularly technically minded) that does a similar thing to the SceneSelections one? And if so where can i find it?

True. Boxee Alpha had torrent support, but that whole "illegal" factor deterred boxee from including support in beta...

As for torrent apps, they exist.... The app I used to recommend has, I think, stopped working? This app you mention, I've never heard of....

Search the forums for TransmissionUI for a torrenting plugin, I think.

I already found the TransmissionUI plugin, but I can't get it to work, and I saw that the developer who constructed lasy posted in his thread on 24th April in which he kinda looked like he'd given up on it :(
