Just thought I'd share this strangeness. I tried watching hulu shows on my boxee/mac and heard no sound at all. I couldn't figure it out until I went to the hulu site and tried to watch the show directly.
on the hulu site, the volume controls are shown by default. it was here that I saw the volume was lowered all the way down. i raised it all the way up on the site and when I tried it again on boxee it worked!
it was then that I noticed that on boxee, the hulu volume controls are only shown for 1 or 2 seconds and after that the only controls that are displayed, if I'm not mistaken, are the boxee's own controls.
