Hello,

I downloaded the latest boxee build as of today's date and installed it on my Macbook and outputting to my plasma TV.

I'm not sure what I'm reporting is a bug or normal operation:

When I view a menu option like movies or TV the main content area doesn't seem to stretch to the full height of the screen. However screens like 'settings' do. The left menu, when visible also uses the full height.

I viewed this on my iMac and the only thing I can think of is that there appears to be a gradient at the bottom of these screens which may not be visible on the TV so it shows as... nothing.

Here is an example: The top image shows boxee using the full height and the bottom shows the screen being cut off.

Any ideas?

What happens when you adjust your overscan?

Settings > Appearance > Screen > Screen Format and Overscan > Advanced calibration

It works for some screens and not others - would the overscan correct this? Video plays fine, it is just those few screens where the bottom is cut off...

Yes overscan settings will correct this.

The reason why on some screens you can see all the stuff inside is because the menu is smaller and has more distance from the end. If you are watching a video there will be a piece missing from the bottom. Just fix the overscan and you will be fine.
