I have been lurking now for a bit and feel comfortable at least now asking these questions.
I purchase movies on iTunes, in part because we are a 1 car family and I'm a grad student stuck at my home office for long hours but also because I don't buy dvds much anymore. I don't mind paying for them.
I want what boxee offers now. I like it because it is an elegant solution over all.
Questions: DRM, I know boxee itself doesn't read DRM files due to ffmpeg being the primary engine. Should I :
1. remove the DRM and go with an ATV?
2. go with a mini and get my netflix streams in a single unit?
3. Will boxee on a mini play DRM iTunes movies/shows or does it interface to frontrow?
I am highly experienced on OSX and have no problem in terminal so this is a setup question more than a configuration question. It would be nice to have netflix on the same box, but again I'm a grad student so watching my costs would be awesome too.
