OK, this is just an example of a TV Show that drives me nuts. But it is symptomatic of whatever problems Boxee/XMBC has.
First of all, it does not recognize Black Books as a TV Show. Even though it is clearly in the folder TV Shows along with my other TV Shows.
It has been sorted in a number of different ways trying to emulate shows that work.
Currently the paths are:
TV Shows/Black Books/Season 1/
TV Shows/Black Books/Season 2/
TV Shows/Black Books/Season 3/
and the typical file naming structure is:
Black Books - S01E1 - Cooking The Books.avi
I.e. Show Name - S0XEX - Episode Title
This works fantastic with shows like The Muppet Show which has an almost identical setup. Why oh why is Black Books so hard to get right?
In Boxee it shows up as "Black Books" (quotes included) under Movies and shows two identical files. Bringing up Read More gives the correct show information, but no information about episodes.
The filenames given for the two entries shows that it recognizes S01E1 and S02E1, and nothing more.
This is driving me nuts! Am I forced to revert to browsing by the filestructure here and for every other show that shows the same behaviour?
