Weird incorrect colours bug

Hi I have an issue with boxee-0.9.3964

All the displays work fine until I hit playback and I get this:

Streamed Video is OK

I wonder if anyone can help me or suggest a fix?

Apologies is this is a known issue. I did read up but found nothing like this

All work ok when played through VLC and the error is consistent with all file types...

Running on a 24" iMac 2.16 GHz
(-- BTO version with Radeon NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GT version)
OS 10.4.11
3GB RAM

I just checked movie trailers as well and it too is borked -- can anyone suggest what to do to rectify this? Boxee looks like a nice interface but right now its pretty much useless.

nope placed this file in the correct directory as well (for OS X) -- same problem as before. Unchanged.
