my mac mini become very slow when boxee is on

i have mac mini with 4 Gb of ram and it's the latest model
i have boxee beta installed and i have 2 screen connected to the mac
my living room and my desktop
every time boxee is on the working with the computer become very slow
is there something i can do?

Any background applications?
Try also repairing disk permissions.
Is the system slow when you only have one screen connected?

There have been several posts reporting problems with MacMini+Boxee+dual monitors....
