Love Boxee but having a major issues

I know this is alpha status so bugs and issues are normal.

But i can play any hulu video and it works perfect.
If i play a movie locally it plays fine.

But when i go to to play last.fm no sound it shows that a stream is playing but i cant figure out why it does not work.

I have a macpro connected to my hdtv using spdif digital out.
Can somebody maybe help me? I forwarded the bug reports to the boxee team.

Another thing is i have 270 movies. If i go directly to the movies section boxee crashes but if i go through the recently added movies and it works fine.

I know this sound like alpha bugs but just wondering if anybody encountered this problems and maybe found a resolution?

So it's crashing when you view the library. Have you tried erasing the library in SETTINGS | GENERAL and let Boxee rebuild it?

No i havet tried that.

But I just noticed that no type of music is playing through boxee.
I can play music through itunes i visit a music site and music plays.
But if i try to play it using boxee no sound.

when i go to settings..system..audio hardware i see that the audio settings is on built in speaker. I change it to digital output and when i go back to play a song nothing happens i go back settings and it reverts back to built in speaker.

May a reinstall will fix this problem?

I dont have this problem on my macbook or wifes macbook pro.
