Smart Crash Reports is something that you might want integrate support for in Boxee for Mac Alpha, Beta, and SVN builds, (but not with stable point-releases as then you will always get reports from it from people who do not upgrade even after it as been fixed in your SVN or the next release which the user have not upgraded to).
Smart Crash Reports is an enhancement for the Apple's CrashReporter application introduced in Mac OS X 10.4. It allows third-party developers to register their products in manner so if the eligible application crashes, the crash log is sent to the developer as well as Apple. This greatly enhances the user experience of the OS, and allows developers to receive crashes and improve their software in a timely manner.
