Hello,
I've made very simple app for Nokia mobile phones. Unfortunately it works on limited number of phones, which support Web Runtime(check here if your phone supports it (http://www.forum.nokia.com/devices/matrix_webruntime_1.html)).
Features(v2):
* Touch UI ( buttons on screen, no virtual keyboard(yet) )
* Key UI ( just like normal remote, numeric keys too)
* Auto connection
Unfortunately no automatic discovery, because of API limitations.
I hope you like it! :)

Thanks for your contribution - I tired it and worked well but would like to see a few features if possible.
1. The "Touch UI" and "Key UI" doesn't remember it's last setting so I have to change it everytime I open the app. It would be nice if that was saved from the last position.
2. If the above gets added I'd like to see the option for it to autologin when I launch the app (saves a keypress)
3. I have a nokia e75 with a full qwerty keyboard and would love to be able to use the keyboard to use the search and the like in boxee.

1. Works
2. Works but i don't see how I can turn this off. It is doing some very weird behavior that's hard to describe. The only way I have been able to try and turn it off is when it launches it asks me "do you want to allow this connection?" if I say "no" it will bring me to the UI but it doesn't have any coloring/graphics. I can then change autologin to "No" but then it doesnt remember that setting when I exit the application. There needs to be an option to disable this autologin. Also, if I don't have the boxee webserver running and it auto logs in it just goes to a blank screen. I would expect to get an error here like "Could not connect to server"
3. Works but with one problem - so when I have my keyboard folded in and I use the keypad the navigation keys work to move around and the clear/backspace key is used to go back to the previous screen. When using the slide out keyboard I want to be able to input text abcdefg etc. HOWEVER, when using the backspace key on the fold out keyboard i want it to delete the last character I typed instead it currently works as a back button. I don't know if it is possible to make the clear key on the keyboard perform a different function than the keypad but if you could do that it would be great.
Start of Edit: I just did some thinking and I would think this should be possible because the device changes the screen orientation when the keyboard is folded out. So I would think you could change the function of the key based off when the keyboard is folded out or not. I don't know anything about this web runtime but from the little programming I know (VB)
if keyboardstate = out then backspace key = x else backspace key = y
End of Edit:
4. I noticed a typo on the interface it's even in your screenshot it says "IP address or hostanme" instead of hostname
5.This is nitpicking but I notice the IP address or hostname box defaults to alpha instead of numeric - some people may prefer this but since i'm typing an ip address it's kinda a pita to have to hold function to type my IP.
6. In addition to autologging in is it possible to have it remember username/pass as well? The whole point of a remote for me is convenience and so the less keypresses involved the better. I just want to be able to launch the app and starting controlling boxee with no input what-so-ever.

Thanks! The remote works well on my E72. For future updates can we use the directional trackpad or navi key?

Thanks for the program. Works just fine with my 5800. Just one tiny problem. The buttons on the UI are too small to press with fingertips. I need to use my nails or the touch stick that comes with the phone. If the buttons were much bigger I'm sure I would use this app daily!!
Could you please increase the button size so, that the touch screen UI can be used easilly with fingertips. :o
Thanks!!

I'am working on new UI, which will support models with different screen sizes properly.
