I am trying like MAD to get Boxee to recognize my folder with season 1 of Heroes in it. On my AppleTV it picked it up as Prison Break and there is NO changing boxee's mind on that one. I've never had ANY luck doing the recognize method. It'll give me a list of shows, I'll pick the show and it'll ask if I want to apply it to the whole folder. I say yes and then I'm back at square one... unrecognized media. I came back to the iMac in the back room to fool with it.... did a manual recognize on ALL 23 episodes of Season 1 of Heroes. Just to REALLY drive the point home. Looks like we need a "I really effin mean it button" (perhaps I should cross post in feature requests? - I'm totally joking of course)
Where is this data stored by the way, I'd be happy to edit an XML file somewhere if I could see a list of all my shows. As it stands now, boxee picks up about 50% of them. (even stranger, it'll pick up 3 of the 4 seasons of The OC and the naming convention on season 4's folder is no different than the other 3)
