Minimizing/Hiding

I am using Boxee with Remote Buddy and it takes over my menu button so i have to exit out of boxee in order to go into another program (bring up the remote buddy menu). when using the keyboard, hiding is impossible when in full screen mode, so i have to hit tab then minimize it. however this isn't working with remote buddy actions and such. i think there should be an easier way to hide the program without exiting.

also, you should be able to disable the "recently viewed" area.
