I have Boxee installed and configured on my Mac Mini which is running Snow Leopard Server. I have the Boxee iPhone app installed as well. The app see's the server name and tries to connect to it. It then takes me to another page which prompts me for a password. I have tried the server admin password as well as the password that was set up on the desktop under Settings>Network>Servers. I don't even have the firewall turned on and it still is not able to connect to my machine.
Has anyone else had this same problem? What is the fix for this?

Sure did. I even tried to set a new password too, still doesn't work.
I dont get why it works perfect with my Macbook Pro, but not the server.
I tried looking up the port that Boxee uses to communicate with Snow Leopard Server, which should be 8800.
Do i have to open up a port somewhere with in SL Server?

This one had me confused for quite some time.....
What I found after much trial and error... was that another application was using http/WebDAV on port 8800.
I think as a default the SLS address book uses port 8800 for authentication. By changing this to another port (such as 8843), it frees up this port and then boxee takes over this port for it's authentication process.
