keep multiple instances of boxee in sync?

Hi

I've been playing around with boxee for about 2 weeks now, setting up my network drives and recognizing the movie files that arent automatically recognized. ideally, i'd like to have a couple instances of boxee through out my house. one in my bedroom on my computer, another in our upstairs tv room and one in the main living room. is there anyway to keep these all in sync? I know that boxee typically automatically detects files added to the folders you tell it to watch, but if i set up a lot of things on one instance of it, i'd rather not have to do the same for all 3. if at all possible. is there anyway to keep them in sync?

So you're saying it's media you have to manually recognize that you want synced between all devices?

All I can think of for that at he moment is to correct the filename for tat unrecognized media.

Alternatively, you could look into copying the DB from one instance to another.

We've talked about having settings that are done in the boxee client (like media shares, last.fm / youtube / flickr / etc credentials be pushed back up to the boxee portal, so when other instances of boxee see your login, it saves them.

We haven't done that on the Alpha yet, as that is a "feature" and could be perceived by some as a "trust issue." Our database would hold a hash of your login, but have it non-the-less.

What do you guys think? I have boxee on a handful of systems, and it's a pain for me to plug these credentials in. How many of us run this scenario? I'd imaging many considering that an Ubuntu and AppleTV box + laptop is how many of us early adopters roll these days...

this is a nice idea ..currently not supported but have forwarded to our product team however if you create any new rss feeds you can add via the website and it will be reflected in all your clients..
