Hello everyone,

I just wanted to let you know that there is a new application available for the iPhone, which supports to remotely control Boxee. It is called VooMote and as you might guess from my username, I am part of the team that developed this application. So, I hope it is ok that I post this here.
Ok, you might say, there are a lot of other applications that do that. That’s true. But VooMote is a bit different. Take a look:

VooMote has a different approach than most of the other remote control apps in the AppStore. VooMote is gesture-based, so you just swipe with your fingers to browse the menus. You can control Boxee, while watching at your screen, not at your iPhone. Ok, still no news for you as you use the Boxee remote application? Here is more: Additionally you get support for a lot of other media applications that you might use on your mac, such as: Plex, Hulu, Front Row, DVD Player.

Currently VooMote is available for Mac-users only, but a version for Windows is on its way. Register for our newsletter or follow us on Twitter to keep updated.

We are very curious how you like it. We are eager to get your feedback, what's good and what's to be improved.

Here is the link to the AppStore to get some more information: http://itunes.apple.com/app/voomote/id325938893?mt=8
The price of VooMote is $4,99.
