Basic beginners help

I am a first day Boxee user. Where can I find BASIC helps for starting to find and view movies?

If you read over those sites/threads, they should answer many of the basic questions.

For viewing and playing movies:
1) Boxee play's most video formats, but some users have had trouble with _TS video, and MKV files if they don't have a GPU with their system
2) Be sure your files are named correctly (see the above links)
3) Be sure boxee has been directed to the correct files where you store your media (Settings > Media).

Once you have that all set, you should be able to play most of your local media.
