AAC Music not adding to library

For some reason my AAC music (in M4A container) is not being added to the library. I can play it just fine but it never shows up in the library no matter how many time i remove and add the source and clean the library db.

select the audio file (you have 2 options Play or recognize) select recognize add the artist and album and then it should be displayed into the Music library..

Yeah this works fine, it's just a huge pain in the ass to have to do this for nearly my entire library.

Oddly this behavior with AAC audio hasn't occured for me in standard XBMC, it just imports it with no problems at all.
