tv.boxee.helper[442] Apple Infrared Remote not found.

HI,

I've installed Boxee Alpha on my MacPro 8 Core.

there is a problem, because MacPro doens't have the apple infrared remote

there is a process called tv.boxee.helper that every 10 seconds checks for the appleRemote.

I've tried to delete the Boxee apps, but the message changes in "Boxee don't found". I cannot find the process to delete (i've cheched Startup Items but with no success), but the problem is that the log is growing without stop!

let me know how to kill the process! (I've also tried to restart the mac, but the process is still there).

hi.
sorry for that... we're still contemplating about the right remote configuration.
anyway - either got into boxee's settings, "system" -> "apple remote" and uncheck "run always".
you can also disable the remote all together from there.

another option is from terminal:
launchctl unload ~/Library/LaunchAgents/tv.boxee.helper.plist

and:
rm -f ~/Library/LaunchAgents/tv.boxee.helper.plist
