Sorry for the gumby question. How do I remove Avner Ronen from my friends list. I sure he's a nice chap but just don't want him hanging around :)

hi robbo007

no problem ..log in into boxee's web (http://app.boxee.tv) with your user credentials select the friends tab >choose the appropriate friend and select "Remove friend"..

Wow, this thread reminds me of the day that I removed Tom from Myspace. Then I removed me from Myspace. :)

Thanks marcel. are you up late scanning the forums too, or on a different coast? east coast here, nyc in fact. trying not to use caps either as per Boxee (boxee?) style. and as for avner's taste i normally agree, but he dislikes californication? what's up with that?

Nope, that doesn't work. At least not with Firefox, Seamonkey or Safari. I can't find the Remove Friend option. The whole thing sounds like a dumb idea. Why would I want to watch what my friends watched? What would they talk to me about? This whole "friends" thing is a way to avoid having to do anything with your friends.

um, boxee is a 'social media center'... if you find the entire concept that the product is based on dumb, why not just use xbmc or plex?
