Just found my first bug in the streaming audio section. I loaded up shoutcase and picked a stream. The first stream didnt play - no reason was given. I dont really consider that a bug but should probably be improved upon eventially.

Second stream attempts to connect but just pinwheels forever. I let the software go for 10 minutes and never did time out and allow me to return to a menu. During this time all remote button pushes seem to be ignored by the software so there seems to be no way to escape.

This test was run on a Mac Mini with the apple remote as the main input device.

This ended up being a fairly catastrophic failure. After letting the software run to see if it would eventually time out I finally turned on my wireless keyboard and tabbed out. Upon tabbing out I found the keyboard and mouse unresponsive. I also found that the system wouldnt suspend and ended up having to hard reboot the system to recover.

Interesting result following the crash. All my music that had been cataloged seems to have gone missing. Artist and Album tabs now show empty. However one of the previously added albums appears on the front "recently used" page and i was able to play that album from that link.

Video sources seem to be unaffected by this.

I'm still having this issue minus the catalog problems with the latest version of boxee (Dec 16th). It most frequenly occurs when my mac mini goes to sleep after a period of activity, then tries to reconnect to the shoutcast stream upon waking up. It never ends up connecting and I must restart the machine. Closing boxee seems to lock up the system.
