thumbnails refresh constantly

I notice every time I go into the TV or movie section or even the apps, boxee always has to refresh the icons and data. Does this not get cached somewhere?
Once it's done there should be no need to do it again. Sometimes it takes a minute or more to full refresh.
Is this normal?

I noticed that the other day too, I'm sure we all have enough memory to handle caching some things. Boxee Beta only takes like 80mb stable while running on 9.10.

Maybe the Boxee Box has less memory than it needs :D

Yes, it is normal, but I agree, it shouldn't have to do that since it does actually store thumbnails locally. I just wonder if it actually is refreshing it from internet sources every time or does it just take that long to load it from the locally stored cache.

has anyone had their thumbnails change, a lot of mine are different to how they were yesterday
