Ok, despite not finding this thread (http://forum.boxee.tv/showthread.php?t=13980) using search, it appears I needed to activate legacy mode with Candelair.

Works fie now in both Boxee and SL.

Sorry for the duplicate. That'll teach me for using search rather than just reading!

Hi,

I just installed Boxee and after a quick search on here I can't seem to find a solution.
Basically, my Apple remote won't respond in Boxee. It operates XBMC and Front Row fine. But Boxee won't acknowledge it. I've tried all 3 modes. If I select "always running" then it will stop the Apple remote controlling the volume etc, but won't takeover Boxee.

I even tried installing Candelair drivers.

Any suggestions?

Boxee Alpha v0.9.14.6992
Mac OS X 10.6.2

Thanks

I'm in the same boat. I can't get the remote to work either. Neither my Apple TV remote NOR my Harmony One works. They work in XBMC and front row just fine. And I make sure to forcequit the XBMC helper service before using boxee...

I had the same problem. Then I installed Candelair and enabled "Legacy compatibility mode" and everything works perfectly.
