Hey guys,

I tried searching the forum but didn't know how to search for my question, so I'm asking right here. I have some episodes of a show (Friday Night Lights) locally on my hard drive but I've been catching up on the latest season with Netflix. Before, when I searched for the show using the TV library, it gave me the option to view it through Netflix, and I would add the episodes to my queue. Now when I look at the specific episode on the queue, it give me no option to open it through Netflix, and I have to go through the Netflix application to access the episode.

Furthermore, when I go through the TV library to search for the show, instead of showing me what episodes are available on the Internet, it just points to the episodes that I have locally on my hard drive.

How do I get the shows to play when I search for it instead of having to go through Netflix in order to access them? Thanks!

Others seem to be having this problem as well:

I imagine that this is only temporary. Integrating Netflix content with user's library is a key feature of Boxee Beta, and I imagine that it's only a momentary glich before the official Boxee release on January 7th.

Netflix data through tv shows has been removed due to content restrictions that have cropped up with Netflix. Yay... You can still access it though for the time being through the Netflix app. Whenever a resolution is reached, it'll probably return.

I don't agree with the NF requirements to view their content only through the application.

This currently forces me to use the NF search feature within the app. Heck, with the old method, I found at a glance that NF had shows and movies I did not even know they had! It made using their system easier and more frequent.

But, I can see that they want users to use their app directly (search, que, viewing etc) Anything else is technically a "circumvention" of their product. ;)

I know internet petitions are usually pointless, but I wonder if in this odd case it would make a difference?
