I have beta installed on Mint 8 and it looks very nice. The issue I'm having is I can't queue any videos and there are no repositories set up. If I try to add a repository it will fail. I've deleted users and reinstalled twice. I must be doing something wrong. Come on quick and simple....

Describe "fail"?

When I try to add a repository I will receive a message stating "Could not get repository information. Make sure the URL is correct and try again." I have tried several different repos and receive the message. I have added repos before, not with the beta release, and never had a problem. I do not have any repositories installed even the default apps are not listed.

I'm not a linux user, but I thought I'd get some of the prelim questions answered in advance.

What version of Boxee are you installing?
Are you sure that Mint is compatible with Boxee?

What repo addresses are you tying in? Give a few as we may find there is an error with how you are typing it.

Though, you said no apps are showing now.:confused::confused:

Well Mint is based off of Ubuntu Karmic so I would think it should work. The version of boxee is 0.9.20.10069. I tried the top five repositories from this page (http://wiki.boxee.tv/App_Box). I tried putting the address in with and without the http: in the front and it gets the same error. Just to repeat my problems: 1 - Although it acts like it saving a video to my queue it doesn't show up in my queue list. 2- There are no apps and I can not add any additional repositories. 3 - There is also nothing in my Feed or Featured columns. Other than that, it does find my videos and display them correctly with all of the correct information on each video
