I tried updating to the newest build of Boxee, uninstalled and removed all traces, then re-installed. It still continues to consistantly crash in Windows. Alpha didn't give this problem, but for some reason Beta does. I've zipped 4 log files, 2 of which are when Boxee launches and idles but crashes on it's own, once after the only thing I did was use the Hulu Launcher App (and was watching something on the Hulu software), and once while watching District 9, all should be named clearly. The idling ones are in Boxee Logs 1, and the other two are Boxee Logs 2. I hope someone can look at it and help me out, I was watching my last thread but to my eyes the logs didn't get viewed. I expect it was because this build was coming soon, but I'm still having problems. I'm using the latest build I know of, 10063. As far as what I'm running as a system -

GIGABYTE GA-MA78GM-US2H mobo
Athlon X2 4850e 2.5GHz processor
Integrated ATI Radeon HD 3200
Integrated Realtek ALC889A

HDMI out for video, optical out for audio. Hope someone can help! :-)

I'm running Vista 64 Ultimate on an Asrock 330. No crashes to speak of.

Have to let Marcel read your logs to see what's up.

Do I have to do anything special to get them to him or should I just be patient? It is really frustrating, I can't even get through a Simpsons episode without crashing and having to restart Boxee, then fast forward to where I was in the show. :-( Hoping I won't need to step back down to Alpha, I really am enjoying the changes for the most part. Just not the crashyness. ;-)

Alright, did as you asked, and somewhat swiftly did the Boxee crash. I then enabled the full logging, and that took longer, but Boxee did crash. I did not run any videos or anything, I simply started it, logged in the first time, and let it sit.

I tried uploading the second file but it was waaaaay too big. :p It took nearly an hour for it to crash, so it was many megabytes.

Well, I'm going to hesitantly say that the crashing problem I experienced has been fixed in the public beta, thank you guys soo much! Things seem to be working well, though I now need to figure out how to tell it to play the next newest video, if I'm watching a tv series, and not the next one down in the list. There might be a setting for 'next video' reading bottom to top, I need to explore more!
