iso dvd image not playing

Happy new year everybody!

I am having an issue with the new beta release. I have made an iso from an old dvd, but boxee is not able to play it. When I select it and try to play it, it crashes.

What OS and version of Beta are you using?

My full DVD ripped ISO's play well on XP and Win-7, though sometimes the DVD menu may not work well.

Marcel will have to advise on this one...

Not trying to steal the thread, but I'm having a similar problem with DVD ISOs. I can get Boxee to play them, but with two issues... 1) I can't simply left click on the DVD menu to make a selection, I have to highlight the selection with the mouse, then hit enter on the keyboard. And 2) There is no way to back out of the DVD to get back into Boxee. i.e, moving the mouse around gets me no Boxee menu of any sort. Have to ctrl-alt-delete to do anything.

My DVD ISo image issue is that the audio plays, but no picture - black screen. Sometimes it crashes Boxee too.

Have you downloaded the latest DirectX?

I've noticed that ISO menus work, but there is about a 20 second delay before full functionality occurs. If you click around prior, no menu items work or require mouse and keyboard usage.
