All of my flash stuff is working again. I'll try and re-enable the indexing to see if it still crashes.


I think boxee crashes when it hits weird files in my media directories. Possible .nzb, .nfo, .rar, .par type files.


I've had indexing disabled (private mode) for a long time now.

I just installed the new release on my ASUS F3AK Laptop, and it is crashing on me... I tried to play something out of the feed... I believe it was a Jay-Z song, and another time when I was getting boxee to see my Media Server.

I finally got my media server to show in the new release. I had to close out of boxee and browse to the share... Opened boxee and went to media share>network shares... and there they were... My music indexed fine, but my movies and tv show's not so much... I figured it just need a little time, but I would go to different sections of the program, and it would crash...

I am getting my logs together now...

Brain, what hardware are you running on your setup?

I just got the debugger running and I am trying to get this this to crash the way I did before. But no luck (well good luck I guess???). I am still having an issue getting my video indexed... my music is indexed but when I got to network shares it says its not connected.... Hummmm... (all of my media except pics are served up via SMB w/o authen from my home server)...

I'm running a Zotac Ion board with Jaunty. My media is NFS mounted to a NAS (openfiler) in my garage.
