Hi
I've just installed Boxee Beta. The trouble is whenever i try to play any video file it plays in fast-forward sometimes slowly down a bit but never playing smooth video. The interface works fine and smooth.

I'm using:
Ubuntu Karmic Koala 64bit
Kernel 2.6.31-16
Gnome 2.28.1
Boxee 0.9.20.10066Mr10066M
Build date 24 Dec

Intel Core2 Duo CPU E8400
1Gb RAM
ATI Radeon HD 3600

Also i have tried it with the latest XBMC and video playback is smooth, at normal speed with no speed up of video or audio.

I found a solution, i turned off VDPAU studio color conversion off and it all seems to be working fine now. I would have thought that Boxee would have discovered that i have an ATI card not a nvidia card and not have turned VDPAU on.

The problem is back and happens whenever i try and pause or fast forward video.

I was getting this as well - Aspire Revo with Nvidia Ion and VDPAU turned on. The issue has gone now and the only thing I've changed since a couple of days ago when I was experiencing it was that I moved all my media off the USB HDD it was on, formatted as ext3 instead of fat32 and then put it back on there again.
