View Full Version : Missing DVD top menu in Beta

In Alpha, it was possible to play a DVD iso and access the root menu of the DVD by scrolling the mouse or pressing "enter." In Beta, this option is missing. Now scrolling around with the mouse button only provides a gui interface for play/pause/ff/rew...etc.

Is this feature gone forever or can we expect it back anytime soon?

Thanks!

Hi Marcel,

Just took a quick look again and I don't see anything there. Just the rew/ff/stop/pause controls in a black bar at the bottom of the screen, and settings subtitles in a bar at the top.

I'm running Ubuntu - Karmic.

Hi Marcel,

Are you referring to the " >| " button at the far right of the playback menu? If so, then this button is not bringing up the menu for me. It just browses to the next file in the directory that the iso is in. For me that is the "folder.jpg" file in the directory.

Fixed. I wasn't on the latest beta build so I updated and now I see the menu icon everyone was talking about. DVD iso images and media are working great now. Thanks! :)

For anyone interested, here's the version I just installed:
