Hi , my specs are :
AMD x2 64 5600 , 64 bit dual core
Nvidia 8500gt
3 Gigs Ram
Mythbuntu 64 , fresh install 9.10 with weekly updates
1. Installation of 64 bit deb went well , no problems
2. Menus within Boxee are very responsive , very good looking GUI
3. I guess Fox ABC and Netflix are known Linux issues .
4. Hulu login , after spending an hour trying to login to Hulu with BoxeeBrowser , I read the forums and found that you can't do that .Hulu feeds play well , and I am glad to see we now have access to the movies .
5. JustinTV : In alpha the frame would load immediately and I would have to wait about 10 seconds for screenshots to load . In Beta the frame takes minutes to load , I have not been able to watch anything yet
6. If I choose a show from USANetwork and WB, it just goes to a black screen , the same shows play fine with Hulu . Examples : Monk . Is this a linux thing ?
7. TV show list . Options to list popular and recent , I would like it if we could list in alphabetical .
8. Rev3 . Someone reported a problem , I experienced it not loading the icons and I could not select a show . I came back to it later and it has worked fine ever since .
9. This is a long list , so I want to say , I'm not complaining . Overall I am extremely pleased with the progress of the Beta . Great job Boxee team !
