hi,

I added a season of House and all episodes had the same released date?!

Boxee download cover & episodes titles.. why not also the "Originally Aired" field instead of the date added to boxee

edit: posted in wrong section.. sorry

+1 Sounds like it may have been an oversight.

Not sure where it pulls the aired date from but StarTrex TNG shows up as being in 1969 as the airdate only off by about 20 year

Data should be coming from IMDB.com or TheTVDB.com

Can you confirm what the actual file name is you're referring to?

for tv shows, boxee/xbmc uses thetvdb.com.

+1 for the feature, too!

I actually browsed my library and see the same thing happening. For some videos it appears to show the air date as the date of the file. For others, it seems to be correct. I'm still looking into it.

do the shows that don't have a correct date, have one on thetvdb? i'm thinking maybe boxee uses the file date as a fall back?

I've just gone through my library and it appears to be ALL my TV shows. None of them show the correct released date.

I'll erase my library again and let the index run over night to make sure thats not the problem.
