Black Screen

Dont know if its been brought up before.

Here are my specs:

Mac Mini
10.5
1GB Ram (I know I know)

If I leave the program on all day (which I do every day) there are some times when I come back and the screensaver is not showing its just a blank screen. If i use my remote I hear the boxee noises but nothing but black on the screen. Im forced to force quit and then reopen.

EDIT: Just happend again to me, this time the menu still showed of the show I had fallen asleep to the previous night, however the background was gone and replaced with just black. When I clicked on a show to try and play it, only black showed on the screen and I had to Command-Tab out of Boxee and force quit.

Let me know if you need any logs, I've reproduced it like 10 times

Hi,

I have a similar issue, but the root of the problem is a resolution change for me. The mini running boxee is connected to a projector and when the projector turns off it changes the resolution of the screen. This causes boxee to go blank (black screen). Not sure if this helps you in anyway. Perhaps a screensaver in os x is altering resolution.
