Boxee Exit remote problem

I'm running atv 2.2 and the latest boxee launcher and alpha.

Whenever I exit boxee I am having an issue. When it exits to the boxee/xmbc launcher menu with "boxee" highlighted. Using the remote I can't highlight any thing else or exit the menu. At first I thought the atv was crashing/freezing but now I realize I am just losing the remote. I found that out because remote.app on my iphone still controls my atv even though my my gum stick remote is dead.

I'm posting this in a new thread because it seems like a different problem then the no remote at all problem.

I seem to have the same issue. Whenever I select Exit from the boxee menu, and choose quit (not suspend) boxee doesn't exit out to the frontrow menu. It stays stuck with the suspend/quit option.

In order to get back into frontrow, I have to unplug, reconnect my ATV.

Is there a fix for this?

same here on atv 2.2. But I can hold down menu and - to reboot the atv. No unplugging required

im also experiencing this issue, longest ive waited would be about 10-15min and still did not quit. i resort to sudo reboot in terminal. i'm on appletv 2.0.2.
