Questions about playing music files.

Hi all

I wasn't sure if this should be posted in the general help or the ATV help but I figured the general help was more appropriate.

Is there a way, when I'm listening to music from my local HDD, to simply shuffle from my entire collection of music rather than having to go into individual albums and play from one album at a time? Also is there support to sort by genre, album, etc.? I currently have my HDD set to private so the mp3s are not scoured to get online metadata, is this the reason I am not seeing sort by album, genre, etc.?

currently we do not have shuffling of entire music collections but just have shuffling the individual album ..you are correct boxee will not index them into album and artist folders as they are selected as "private" however you can still view them via Music>sources><"select the source">:)

Is there a plan to add those shuffle capabilities in the beta or further along the line?
