starting to get used to the beta but my only dislike about it is the way you browse for local TV shows. In the alpha it would show you the show then the seasons then the episodes in the season. It is a pain to have to scroll through all of the episodes at once especially tv shows with so many episodes like king of queens, sopranos, top gear, family guy ect. I also like seeing the cover art for each individual season and also i like seeing the screenshot of the episode from the tvdb as i tend to remember the picture of the episode rather than the name. I don't see why this would be taken out in the beta, is there a view setting that i am missing?

I miss this from the alpha too. I prefer thumbnails over lists and episode numbers over titles... would be great to be able to choose from various layout options.

I actually prefer the new system. I hate nest upon nests of menus.

I actually prefer the new system. I hate nest upon nests of menus.Which is why I vote for more options that the user can select from. :) (which the alpha had at the last/deepest view too -- you could have thumbnails or a list, with or without the info sidebar IIRC).

I couldn't agree more! Nesting is just more steps and steps... aruhg! With Beta, one click...BAM, there's my stuff. ;) JMHO.

if they really want to keep the new way at least have the picture of the episode above the description, or let the user choose what way they want to see it.

I think it would be nice if seasons were collapseble.

Brilliant! It is the best of both worlds.

Have the latest season expanded by default, and the remaining seasons collapsed in reverse-chronological order.

I love it.

+ another one for collapsible views. Might also be a good solution for browsing local music—collapsible alphabetically to save scrolling for so long.

+1 for collapsible seasons. Scrolling through 11 seasons of Married with Children is a pain the way it is now lol.

I just noticed the "Filters" menu under the "Show Me" section. You can easily show individual seasons that way. I still think the collapsible seasons would be better though. :)

Another +1 for collapsible seasons. The new way is a huge step up from the Alpha, but the more episodes a series has the more difficult it gets to navigate.
