Installed the new Beta last night...HAWT...but I'm having issues with my remote now. I have a Logitech Harmony 550 and had it configured as an MCE remote...but it isn't working with Boxee in the Beta. The directional buttons seemed to work to navigate around...but I couldn't back out of any of the menus...
Also, the play, pause, etc...didn't work while I was watching a Movie...
Anyone know how to setup a Harmony remote with the Beta now?

So I haven't gotten full functionality back...it looks like Boxee is being more and more intended to work with the 6 button style of remote (apple and new Boxee Box looking thing...)
Anyway... the OK button on my harmony (mapped to MCE OK) brings up the menu for play, pause, ff, rew, etc... so I'm using that now.
I also changed the exit and prev buttons which I had mapped to back to be mapped to clear. Clear gets you up a level in the menus and brings the main menu up.
If anyone has any better setups using a harmony I'd love to hear them, but for now this will work, and at least it let me put the keyboard away again.

Update boxee to the new beta (if you follow your links sent in e-mail you'll see a new build). 9816 I believe is the new tag for Winblows.
I'm having much better luck with my MCE remote in that version. Looks like they made some changes. play/pause/rewind/back, etc. all work for me now as expected. The only annoying part is some buttons still open up Media Center. Not sure how to stop that...

Yup, the newest builds have the remote all fixed back up...glad to have my harmony functioning properly.

Hi, I have the same remote and have just bought a windows 7 machine to run Boxee etc...
It doesn't have a built in IR receiver, which one do you use?

I have a USB IR receiver that I got with an HP laptop...any USB Windows Media IR Reciever will work...should be able to get a remote and dongle cheap online
