Here's my vote. I've been using XBMC on my Xbox for over a year now (that's where the XB in XBMC comes from) and I was hoping for a single official maintainer to stick to. Afterall the sources of XBMC still build for XBox and probably always will. I hope Boxee picks up that support one day.

Additionally, I have a Debian Sid machine here in my study. I'll try the binary linux version on it (the one aimed at Older Ubuntus I suppose) and let you know if it's supported as well.

Very confusing topic summary, I thought initially that you where asking for Boxee to run under Debian on an Xbox :p

...next time I suggest you post two seperate topic-threads instead, that is the common practice and just plain good netiquette (one subject per topic-thread)

as far as we are concerned, we build on top of xbmc, and port back features that team-xbmc wishes for, as well as release the code in general. we are not looking at porting back to xbox - its a great platform, but it has too many limitations.

love to hear how the debian run goes. running on ubuntu, i imagine the delta to get it running isn't to big.
