Thought this might help others out there with the same issue.
Boxee on my Mac started crashing upon login after I had added a new movie.
I navigated to USER/Library/Application Support/BOXEE/UserData/profiles/USERNAME/ and deleted the file itemshistory.dmp
After that, Boxee launches and logs in just fine. It’s just lost my recently played list, nothing else.
